Biography

Dr. Kim is an associate professor of economics at Southern Connecticut State University. His research interests include regional economic development, entrepreneurship, immigration, and choices under risk. His work has been published in Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Regional Science, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Annual Review of Resource Economics, and Australasian Marketing Journal. He teaches undergraduate and MBA economics courses. He received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 2015. Upon his graduation, he worked as a post-doctoral research associate at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
