Biography
Dr. Smith holds clinical credentials and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Connecticut and has practiced professionally for 2016, treating adult and pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Dr. Smith’s primary area of research investigates best practices for instrumental evaluation of infant swallowing. Dr. Smith received her doctorate from James Madison University where she also received her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. She is a member of the Dysphagia Research Society, the Society for Ear Nose Throat Advancement in Children, and the Pediatric Feeding Disorder Alliance.
