Biography
Cheri Smith, PhD, LPC, NCC is a licensed professional counselor ( AL) and a national certified counselor. She also taught at the following institutions: University of Montevallo , St. John’s University, University of West Georgia , The New York Institute of Technology and Troy State University.
She has served in various leadership roles in the counseling profession - as President of the Alabama Counseling Association and President of the Association for Spiritual, Ethical and Religious Values in Counseling. Also, she served for five years on the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling and has been an accreditation site visitor for CACREP.
