Andrew Smyth

Andrew Smyth is Professor of English and Director of Early College at SCSU, where he teaches Secondary English Education and a range of writing and literature courses. He has taught and led workshops in the Foreign Studies College of Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, and completed a Fulbright Specialist Assignment—“Capacity Building for Research Leadership in English Language and Literature”—at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2019. His research interests include Literary Animal Studies, Anglo-Irish Literature, Travel Literature, and Secondary Education.
