Biography

Dr. Amal Abd El-Raouf is currently a professor at the Computer Science Department, Southern Connecticut State University, United States. She is a member of the Greater Hartford Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Software Quality, Big Data, Real Time Systems, Parallel and Distributed Computing, and Object Oriented Systems. She has taught the software engineering and software quality courses at the graduate program and the introduction to programming, data structures, multimedia, networking and algorithms courses in the undergraduate program. Dr. Abd El-Raouf is the author of several papers in journals and international conferences in the field of Software Engineering. She received her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2005 from the University of Connecticut and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Cairo University. Dr. Abd El-Raouf joined Southern Connecticut State University in 2005.
